Hi, I'm Jani!

I'm a designer interested in the convergence of forms of communication, research, and story-telling who wishes to enter the data visualization and ui/ux fields.

I graduated in May 2025 from The University of Georgia with a BFA in Graphic Design, an AB in Interdisciplinary Design, and two minors in Sociology and Korean Literature and Language Studies. I am currently pursuing an MFA in Information Design and Data Visualization alongside a graduate certificate in Game Experience Design at Northeastern University.​

I am proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier, and Lightroom), Figma, Final Cut Pro, and Canva. I am currently learning data visualization technologies (html, css, java script, and python) via visual studio code and p5.js. I am also fluent in English and Tamil and semi-fluent in Korean.​

Fun fact: I am a competitive dancer! In college, I was captain of a competive bolly-fusion dance team. In my free time, I love learning new choreos, cooking new recipes, and thrifting :D
